The owner of a farm in O Chamnip village, Tasda commune, Sampov Loun district, Battambang province, has been plowing, cultivating, and enjoying his farm for many years without any problems. This year, he has already plowed the land, waiting for the rain to come, and he will start planting. On April 8, 2024, however, three overlapping anti-tank mines were found in their fields, causing a great deal of consternation. CMAC’s EOD experts operated clearance in the adjoining area and had information on anti-tank mines lines, so they continued to clear the area and found three overlapping mines. The condition of the anti-tank mines found is still of high explosive quality at all times. Fortunately, the owner of the farm did not use a tractor to run them over.
