On the morning of Friday, April 10, 2026, at the Peace Techo Museum Meeting Hall in Siem Reap Province, H.E. Heng Ratana, Delegate of the Royal Government in charge as Director General of CMAC, presided over the get-together meeting and payment of seniority indemnity to 130 retired officers. His Excellency emphasized that despite reaching retirement age, these individuals still possess the potential to support their family's economy through secondary occupations such as handicrafts, souvenir making, farming, livestock raising, or other local community-based businesses. He further assured them that CMAC remains committed to their welfare and is currently in discussions with donors and partner organizations to facilitate career opportunities that match their abilities, supplementing their official retirement pensions.

During the ceremony, His Excellency expressed his profound gratitude and highest praise for the retirees who dedicated their time, spirit, and physical efforts to serving the motherland and the unit. He specifically honored their participation in dangerous missions to save citizens from the threat of landmines and explosive remnants of war (ERW) over the decades. He stressed that their immense sacrifice has been the cornerstone of national safety and social development, noting that today's peace and achievements would not exist without their past dedication and unwavering commitment.

In his closing remarks, His Excellency encouraged the retirees to continue being active, disciplined, and dignified members of their communities, serving as role models for the next generation. He urged them to prioritize their health, ensure their children and grandchildren pursue education, and wisely invest their severance pay into sustainable businesses to ensure long-term family stability.
